Principal construction work is now complete on the Brown House historic building on salt cay.
Built by shipwright-turned-salt proprietor Alexander Harriott in 1832, Sunnyside, as it is now known, is one of the historic salt plantation homes on Salt Cay. The main support beams in the foundation are from a ships beam. The under area of the house is where the salt was stored.
